Nic buried herself in a high powered job - "plain clothes, covert ops and the drama and ego of that," but after her sister died, she fell into a very deep depression. It was her ten year old daughter Chloe who pursuaded her to seek help in a community setting. Nic speaks movingly about how having therapy with other patients - hearing them speak about their "fight for life" - helped her through.
