First Digital Storytelling workshop


Thanks to everyone who came to the first of a six part digital storytelling course at Redmond Community Centre. What a fun and fascinating group of people! We’re looking forward to supporting you in the development of your audio-visual projects over the coming weeks. Digital Storytelling Workshops Extended!

Participant in the Hackney Adult Learners' Week Digital Storytelling Workshop, 2013

On the Record is now delivering a two week course in Hackney in Digital Storytelling. The first week of  workshops created digital stories that can be seen here.  If you would like a place on the next workshops please contact us via or 0785 322 8023 to book a place.

Session 1:  Finding the place with a story for you; exploring Hackney Museum: Wednesday 29 May 2013 10 am – 2:30 pm 

Session 2: Researching your story; Hackney Archives Thursday 30 May 2013 10 am – 2 pm 

Session 3: Recording your story: Monday 3rd June 2013 10 am – 2 pm 

Session 4: Editing and sharing your story: Friday 7th June 2013 10 am – 2 pm

Free classes for Hackney Adults

PART 2: Thursday 23 May 10am – 2pm at Linden Children’s Centre, 86-92 Rectory Road, N16 7SH. Map here.

 Learn to use oral history interviewing, digital sound recording, digital photography and blogs to bring stories alive in this two-part workshop, part of Adult Learners Week. Please bring with you something important to you that you want to tell others about.

All levels of experience welcome. A Turkish speaking volunteer will be present.
